Cherrapunjee is a gorgeous hill town nestled amidst the pine-forested mountains of North-East India. This holiday retreat, known for offering the highest level of rainfall in the world, is also one of the highest places in Meghalaya. The most fascinating attractions in Cherrapunjee are its lofty mountains, unique living root bridges, caves - some of which are the largest in Asia and its collection of scintillating viewpoints.
Mawkdok Dympep Valley View Point is one such captivating destination. Stationed close to the Sohra tourism circuit, this area was recently taken up by Meghalaya Tourism Board for development, making it more accessible to explore. From this point, one can witness spectacular views of a swooping valley, formed by a group of lush hills on either side.
If you are visiting Mawkdok Dympep Valley, Cherrapunjee, then ziplining is something one must indulge in! Located a ten-minute trek away from the view point, this zipline is all set to take you on an adventurous ride over the magnificent forests and valleys. Enjoy a birds-eye view of Meghalaya’s ethereal beauty from 1200 ft. above the ground. The Mawkdok Dympep Valley View Zipline is a newly developed attraction, drawing in tourists visiting Shillong and Cherrapunjee. It guarantees oodles of fun and adventure while ensuring safety, with the assistance of certified instructors.
